The fence building project of the Falls River was a big success. Sixteen volunteers generously donated their Saturday and worked under cool and overcast conditions. The volunteers worked from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for a total of 136 volunteer hours. These hours do not include the time that Lawson spent working with the DEM and doing other administrative tasks. The group worked near the Falls River Bridge on Austin Farm Road and on Barber Trail. Chris Metakos provided beef stew and Gloria Cary provide the brownies and soda. Al Jaffa supplied a generator and John O'Meara lent his tractor to the effort. Thank to one and all! Volunteers:
